Remembering 40 Years
Waterford Kettering Class of 1965
Friday through Sunday, Sept 16-18, 2005
It has been 40 years since we walked the halls of
Waterford Kettering High School. Can you believe it?
Our muscles and bones may have aged and some things
may be a little fuzzy but the memories are just
like yesterday, and now is your chance to refresh
those memories and fill everyone in with what you have been
up to for the last 40 years.
As requested by many of our classmates, all of the 'Remembering 40'
activities will be held down halls of memory Lane'. we will be able
to visit our old high school. (A beautiful auditorium has been
added, and a pool is in the works!) Let the sights and smells
of our youth begin our next dialogue, "Do you remember..."
We will meet and great fellow classmates Friday evening at the
Oakland County Sportsmens Club (Waterford Road off Dixie Highway)
to catch up with old friends and get reacquainted.
Casual dinner is available.
Saturday evening we will dine and dance at Bartelli's Banquet Hall
next to the 300 Bowl. The 300 Bowl is on Cass Lake Road,
south of M-59 and Elizabeth Lake Road, Waterford.

would register at Classmates.com. Our committee has access to
this site and it would make our job easier and more effective,
We can update each time you change your profile. Our next
reunion is just five years away and with so many of you retiring,
it is hard to keep up! THANKS!

Friday- Walk Down Memory Lane!
Do you wonder if the school still looks the same? Do the halls look as big or as
long? Join your classmates in visiting our alma mater.
A tour of Waterford Kettering High school will begin at
4 PM on Friday, September 16. We will meet at the front lobby.

\Warm up Party
Join your classmates at the Oakland Country Sportsmans Club
4770 Waterford Road (off Dixie Hwy) beginning at 5:30 PM.
The club offers their all-you-can-eat tasty chicken and
fish dinners ($7.50) per person) with cash bar, from
5:30 - 8 PM. Stick around after dinner for more munchies
and beverages. This evening will be entirely Dutch treat.

foursome to play. We will match you up with other classmates.

Class Directory Update....
Once again we are compiling a wkhs Class of 1965 Directory,
featuring names, addresses and updated activities of fellow
alums, along with advertising/sponsorship support. This
directory will be given out at the reunion. If you cannot
join us, please complete and return the 'Remembering 40 Years'
form so you will be included in this directory.
If you will not be attending but wish to receive the souvenir
Directory, please send a check for $6.50. Thanks.

Enjoy a great dinner buffet, dance to the music and spend an
enjoyable evening catching up on the lives of fellow classmates.
Consider this an evening of fun, food and friendship.

Sunday Breakfast is on your own. Both hotels offer a complete
continental breakfast, and of course B&B's offer a great breakfast.
Otherwise, you may want to join us at the new cracker Barrel General Store
(Sashabaw Rd at I-75) at 10 AM. Many of us will be getting together
for a last farewell until 2010.

The deadline for reservations for the WKHS Class of 1965
40th Class Reunion is August 19, 2005. Everyone is
welcome to attend. The cost is $55.00 per person for
the Saturday evening dinner/dance. We have lots of
other events planned for the weekend. Let me know
if you're interested in other details...
The event is being held on the weekend of September 16-17-18,
