Jack in Hawaii...

on a deserted stretch of Kauai, Hawaii beach, November 1999. Paula & I spent one week at Kaanapali Beach, Maui, and one week on the east shore of Kauai.  The weather was lovely, the water a clear blue and green, and the skin diving was amazing.  We ate lots of good seafood and took long walks on the beaches.

Jack on a Business Trip...

Jack visiting the beautiful and ancient Buddhist temples of Bangkok, Thailand, August 1983. My two business trips to Thailand were to teach data communications and networking to several banks, rice mills and military organizations. Everyone should experience Bangkok so they understand how
lucky we are in the USA!  After leaving Bangkok, I visited the Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan.

Jack in Sunny Florida...

Jack with a typical bass caught off of his back deck in Winter Haven, Florida, March 2000. Our condo is on a private lake, which is full of bass and gators. I hooked my first gator (11 foot) last winter. Paula thinks  I'm nuts! We spend about four months in Florida each winter enjoying the heated pool, friends, fishing, eating and loafing
(Note from Mike to all you who think that catching fish like this is common place here in South Florida. It isn’t! I have lived here since 1965 and all I catch is colds two or three times a year. I think this is one of those talking bass things that Jack took off a wall plaque. It still makes an interesting foto.)
