John C Forbes left Drayton to go to WMU. During  the next four years he was extensively involved in all school activities, sports included. Very politically motivated and also inspired by the wrongs mankind inflicts on others he joined several organizations to help carry the torch.
Started Grad school in 1972, first daughter Sarah was born in 1974. Other daughter Chelsea was born in 1976. Lived in Kalamazoo then moved to Ann Arbor. Then moved on to Escondido, California.

Through all the ups and downs an individual encounters in those tumultuous years he and his first wife divorced in 1993 He has since remarried and states with pride that his wife Cecilia is sweet, intelligent, a hard worker, a great dancer, and a very good skier. She loves baseball and enjoys other sports. Both are good cooks. She is his best friend.
John has spent the last 35 years involved very heavily in all his business activities, from Real-estate, broker, even finding time to coach soccer for 18 seasons, winning 4 County Cup Championships, one 2nd in state and one State Open Championship.
The Forbes Family 3 best friends. Rocky is taking a nap, while Tache and Ollie stand guard. This is Johns suggestion for the best fire alarm you could possibly own. And with two of them he feels well protected.

Meanwhile, Sarah is in her third year of law school.  She graduated with
a  degree in biology from University of California at San Diego.  She
wants to specialize in intellectual property law---patents, etc.,
especially in  biotech and high tech. Chelsea graduated top of her
class at UCLA and had  several offers for med school, but chose to stay
at UCLA. She wants to spend  at least 1/3 of her time working with
underserved communities (homeless, underemployed, etc.). She was
pointing towards being a pediatrician, we'll have to see how that plays
out.  She still plays soccer.  Her coed team won the all campus
championship this last year. She likes to play with the  guys.  They are
both 5'7", very intelligent, pretty, and really nice people.
John is presently selling his home and I borrowed these fotos from the web site that is showing the home.
