A few Kudos....
As have many other already, I would like to express my deep
appreciation for the opportunity to share an incredible afternoon
with some fantastic people!  As the ad goes, "It don't get any better
than this!"  Place your bets now and avoid the rush! "Thingee I"
will be exceeded in pleasure by "Thingee II," and all "Thingees"
thereafter.

I do not believe I have ever met a bunch of more fun people to be
around, to share experiences and memories with.  Thanks for your
company. Don, when I had to leave you had popped off somewhere -
probably the one-holer - and I did not have the opportunity to
express my appreciation for what you and the others did to set it up,
for your company in general, and the opportunity to meet your
delightful bride.  Please do keep in touch, and the same for all the
rest of you.

The original Winegar's Riding Stables were across from the Roth
Lumber Company, at the intersection (east side of the road)of M-59
and Cass, down the road from what became Crary Junior High.  Both
were there when we moved into Lincoln Heights in 1943. The hayrides
were an unreal pleasure. Downside was that one of my sisters was
always along, so there wasn't much "burrowing."  The hayrides were
always a part of the halloween parties we had in the neighborhood.

That's what we need, a big hayride for "Thingee II!"

Glenn

I just wanted to express my thanks to Don for putting together the
1st and I hope not the last get together Thingy. Stef and I had a
great time talking with old friends and making some new ones. I can't
wait for the photos to be posted. The class of 63 were only
represented by two no make that three. We are counting Connie with
the class of 63 also. We will let her represent two classes.

Again Thanks and We are looking forward to next year.

Dick writes...
I got home last night and just checked the Yahoo Group site tonight
to see what is being said. I had the time of my life seeing all of you and
finally getting to dance with the most beautifull LADY I ever knew
after 40 years.  Once again for the First Time.  Dreams do come
true.  Dick Walsh (62)

Pat Writes...
MY DEAR FRIENDS I WANT YOU TO KNOW...IF OUT OF TIME, I COULD PICK ONE MOMENT
AND KEEP IT SHINNING,ALWAYS NEW,OF ALL THE DAYS THAT I
HAVE LIVED,I'D PICK THE MOMENTS THAT I MET AND SPENT WITH ALL OF YOU.
YOU LEFT ME YOUR HEART PRINTS OF COMPASSION, OF UNDERSTANDING AND LOVE.
HEART PRINTS OF KINDNESS AND GENUINE CONCERN, AND I WILL HOLD YOUR LOVE FOREVER, IN MY MIND AND SOUL.AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU EACH
AND EVERYONE. AND THE DANCE I HAD WAITED 40 YEARS TO HAVE, BECAME REAL,AND I THANK
THE GENTLEMAN AND HIS HEART FOR THAT..

We have a solid date for the 2nd Annual Waterfordian Florida Get Together Thingie. It will be on Sunday October 5, 2003
beginning at noon. Once again it will be held at the Inlet Harbor Restaurant in Ponce Inlet Florida. Last year we had 30
to 35 show up including spouses and guests.  Today we decided that we would do our best to have over 100, including guests, at Thingie II.
We will be Glenn Briggsless as he will be in China or France or Iceland or someplace too far from Ponce Inlet to join us.
I have promised him that we will put a picture of him on a chair.....I may even buy his picture an iced tea. (SOMEONE
WILL SURELY BE VIDEO TAPING AND WE WILL SEND HIM A COPY)
We will have an assortment of yearbooks from all three schools to browse through.  We are even going to try to have yearbooks from the junior highs also.

We would also like to get the word out to teachers and other staff so that they can also join us.  That would really be great.

There will be no "official" RSVP but it would be nice to know roughly who will be there.  Also, there will be no upfront
money. Just show up.  If you want something you can order or if you don't want anything you don't have to order.
It will be up to you.  Inlet Harbor has
a full menu and a complete bar.  JB may bring his boat over as the restaurant has it's own marina....other boats are welcome.
If you want to spend the night or more let me or Glen Bradsher know and we will help you with some lodging suggestions.
It is a great time of year to stay in Daytona as the rates are about the lowest of the year and the weather is "generally" not too hot or too cool.

So, if you live in Florida, plan on coming to Florida around that time or know someone else that lives in Florida mark October 5
on your calendar.  We (Glen, Glenn, Oliver, John, The Other Mike, myself and others) will be working hard all summer to get us up
over 100 attendees.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible........Buy your tickets Dick and Pat!

Thanks to everyone who came by Hooters today.....even though we never did find out how much Tracy weighed.

Also, a special thank you to Glenn for the shirts. Lisa has a biiiiiiiiiiig smile. You are a super guy and
friend.....thank God for this Yahoo group so that I can meet people like you.

See y'all in October.
