Hey everybody,
It has been proposed that there be a periodical recap of what has
been bubbling up in the Yahoo Waterford Alumni Group. A brief
history is that the group was started with vision by Glen Bradsher in
January of 2001. Since then there have been nearly 650 people who
have joined the group and over 30,000 posts. Virtually all of the
posts have been about what life was and is like in Waterford, MI.
There are a ton of photos that are being updated and changed all the
time.
The past few days there has been a lot of great discussion. If you
have anything that you would like to add or aid us on feel free to
jump in and join the conversations.
1. Lots of reunions and get togethers coming up in the summer
months. Go to www.waterfordalumni.com/reunions/ for more information
on some of these. If you know of more reunions or have more
information on what is there let us know.
2. Sandra Patton Pickett is looking for classmates from WTHS 1957.
If there are any of you out there lurking in the group com'on in and
say "hi" to Sandy.
3. The Other Mike Dolliver is looking for a 1960 Crary yearbook. He
will return it but just needs to scan the pages and make a disc for
Mr. Nickman. If you have any knowledge where he might find one drop
him a line at snapshop@ix.netcom.com or waterfordalumni@aol.com
4. Check out the photos and take a look at the monsterous catfish
that Mike Gilmore, WTHS '66, caught.
5. Direct from the Waterford Debaters Group one of our favorites,
Dr. Glenn Brigg (not to be confused with Dr. Phil) has rejoined the
group after a short (but too long for us) sabatical. He has jumped
right in and has livened up the conversation....Welcome HOME Glenn.
Let's face it, with over 30,000 posts in 6˝ years there has been lots
and lots of topics talked about. You don't have to post to enjoy
them but you can't enjoy them at all if you don't come into the group
and read them occasionally.
Hope to see y'all at one of the summer get togethers or at the annual
Florida Thingie in October.
